Music Care Therapy

$0.00

I am Jenny Kruse, a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), and owner of Music Care Therapy, LLC (previously known as Jenny Kruse Music Therapy, LLC). We provide music therapy services through 1:1 and group sessions, as well as adaptive music lessons on various instruments. Music therapy sessions involve using music as a tool to help people with different abilities learn and practice functional life skills. Adaptive music lessons help people with different abilities learn to play an instrument such as piano or guitar.

Music therapy is an established health care profession that uses research-based techniques to address functional objectives. For those with Autism, nationally certified music therapists (MT-BC), develop treatment plans based on individual assessments. Treatment may focus on developing skills in areas including sensory integration, attention, communication, motor planning, social skills and anxiety management. A music therapy session may appear to be just fun music games, but each session is tailored to meet specific objectives to help the client learn functional skills to use in real life.
